Pete Levoir (Allan 1972)

Old Cranbrookian and businessman Pete Levoir spent time in school on Tuesday 12th February to speak to 6th form pupils and to offer then advice on their futures and the opportunities open to them in the business world.
Pete left Cranbrook School in 1972 and went to Cambridge to study Economics.  He worked at the Bank of Boston for 10 years before setting up his own business at the age of 30. In 2002 he set up Rhokett , based in Cranbrook, which manufactures high quality desserts for outlets such as M&S, Waitrose and Pret a Manger  and now has a turnover approaching £10MM  with  2 factories and  a warehouse.  He also advises on business and entrepreneurship at Ravensbourne, Henley and Cranley.
After his talk he took questions from the audience and discovered that many pupils had aspirations of setting up their own business enterprises.  He praised the school for the advice and information that is on offer to pupils and was impressed by the number of pupils studying Economics and Business Studies.
